Quote: Making drums, rattles and craftwork is medicine. If your medicine is real you will be guided by the spirit world. If you just copy what others do your medicine isn't real and it has no power. - Bull Wolf

Wolf Drums offers three types of drums for sale: Native American Style Drum, Siberian Style oval drums and Thunder Drums (otherwise known as Pow Wow or Ceremonial drums). We call them thunder drums as they produce a loud thunderous sound when being played. We will also custom make drums and can tension them to suit your locations average climate range.

Lay-bys Welcome

  • Thunder drums are available 12" or 16" deep.
  • All Thunder drums are currently made in the stave method using forest salvaged Australian Red Cedar or recycled Western Red Cedar.
  • We use Deer, Horse, Cow, Elk or Bison raw hide for these drums (please discuss the availability of hides prior to placing your order). All rawhides are processed by Wolf Drums to ensure quality.
  • All of our Thunder drums have an internal echo which gives them a distinctive sound.
  • We've developed a custom method of reinforcing our Thunder drum hoops to prevent the staves from splitting apart which is a common problem with stave method drums.

Prices start from $900 each.
Deposits are required prior to commencement of work. Periodic payments may be required. The final balance is due on completion. Please feel free to contact us regarding your Thunder drum requirements.
