We use a variety of turkey and pheasant feathers, along with rabbit, fox or coyote fur.
Beaded rosettes and shell discs are also available for extra decoration.

These rattles are made using Red Ear Slider turtle shells which the turtles are native to North America. Decorative options include leather buckskin and tanned fur. Tanned fallow deer legs are also used for the handles, subject to availablility.

American Bison tails are available from time to time to cover the rattle handle, which has been specially shaped to allow a snug fit into the tail. There is a limited supply of summer and winter tails.
