WHAT'S ON FOR 2010
Wolf Drums offers workshops giving people the opportunity to create their own unique medicine rattle or prayer stick in our half-day workshops. Details on each workshop are outlined below with Further Information at the bottom of the page, especially if you are wanting to organise your own group at an alternative venue.On this page we will also list workshops to be held at our location in Penrith.
Rattle Workshops
Our rattles heads are made using genuine rawhide on a timber handle. All material is supplied to decorate your own personal rattle. We also encourage you to bring along your own special items - feathers, crystal pendant, beads, ribbons, etc to add to the decoration of your rattle.
The rattles on the left are only an example of what you will be making. How you decorate your rattle is your choice giving you the freedom to play and create something special for yourself.
Each rattle head is approximately 3" in diameter. Elk and Bison hides depend on availablity.

You can organise your own group, up to 15 people, for a rattle workshop or make a day of it and have a Prayer Stick workshop on the same day.
Booking Information
| Cost: | $55 for deer or horse, $60 for Elk or Bison. |

| Balance: | Full balance is due on the day of the workshop. |
| Start Time: | Arrive 8.45am for 9am start for morning workshops. Afternoon workshops commence 1pm. |

Prayer Stick Workshops
This is a half-day workshop in which you have the opportunity to create your own unique prayer stick. You will be supplied with a rib bone, plus material for decorating. The prayer stick on the left is an example. Be as decorative as you feel and don't forget your own special talisman or charm to incorporate into your Prayer Stick. These can also be used as talking sticks or a unique wall decoration.
Elk and Horse ribs depend on availablity.

Further Information
- If you are attending back to back workshops with Rattle and Prayer Stick on the same day, depending on location, we suggest you bring a packed lunch as cooking facilities may not be available.
Payments for All Workshops
- Deposits are due on the date specified for each workshop to guarentee your placement. Please not that deposits are non-refundable.
- Where no deposits have been received the workshop can be re-booked or cancelled. We will not chase up late payments.
- The final balance is due on the day of the workshop. Where workshops have been organised outside the Sydney metro area, fuel charges will be added to the cost of the workshop.
- If you've paid your deposit but can't attend the workshop? For participants who have paid their deposit but are unable to attend our workshop due to unforeseen circumstances you may choose to transfer the deposit to another Wolf Drums workshop or purchase a product from Wolf Drums at an equal or greater value, with the difference payable at time of purchase.

- One on one workshops are available by appointment only. Please contact us for available dates and to discuss any details.
Organising Your Own Rattle or Prayer Stick Workshop
- If you would like to organise your own group for a workshop with us at an alternative venue, please contact us to discuss the details.
- As an organiser, if you are making your own rattle or prayer stick during the workshop you receive a 50% discount off the price of your rattle or prayer stick. This discount is not available on any other offer or purchase.
